So: this is how it sounds,  with the peculiar bowl shape mentioned in Mary Burwell lute tutor.
The new 11 course lute  made in collaboration with student Milan Barbé. It is nice to already have the first feedback from the musicians trying it out.  I shipped it to Oslo and Jadran Duncumb  plays the piece by Jean Mouton on this lute that is very similar to the lute Mouton himself was using.  I bet he knew Jean Desmoulins  (Paris 17. cent) the maker of the lute with the peculiar bowl shape.
